Chuck Dixon ramps the drama up in this intense, romantic story involving Black Canary and Ra's Al Ghul. And yes, Talia is not happy about the proposition her father offers to Dinah Lance.
Beautiful art by Butch Guice and Gloria Vasquez, who really capture the romance and horror of this book. Mark and I are still puzzled by the characterization of Dinah, but there are so many talking points in this book that we really enjoyed discussing this story.
The emotional beats displayed in the writing and art are quite masterful.
